Kodak ColorPlus 200 – Everyday Film, Unexpected Beauty
Kodak ColorPlus 200 may be one of the most accessible and affordable film stocks out there, but don’t let the price fool you, this film delivers stunning results. With its golden highlights, warm red-orange tones, and soft, natural greens, it brings a subtle vintage charm to everyday scenes. Beloved by beginners and seasoned shooters alike, ColorPlus is a reminder that great images don’t need premium prices. This preset and profile pack brings that look to digital with faithful color and tone reproduction.

Originally positioned as an entry level film, ColorPlus 200 offers more than meets the eye. Its color palette leans into warmth without overpowering skin tones, and its gentle grain gives photos a timeless, familiar feel. We’ve profiled this stock not just at box speed, but also at +1 and +2 overexposure, where it really starts to sing, delivering creamy highlights and a softer tonal rolloff. This emulation brings the best of ColorPlus into the digital realm.

Low Cost, High Reward - Now in Lightroom
This profile was built with the same care as more premium stocks scanned on high end equipment, color matched across lighting conditions, and balanced for both accuracy and usability. It’s warm, forgiving, and quietly beautiful. This pack is a nod to everyday photography and just like the film, it doesn’t need to be expensive.

Kodak ColorPlus 200 Preset For Each Profile

A full suite of Film Tools V2 presets to get you to the finished look quickly. These include - Warmth, Airy, Color Density, and 11 Color Grading presets.

HOW TO USE

  1. Adjust your white balance and exposure as needed, aim for good skin tone and or clean white

  2. Choose your film stock by applying the preset - Portra, Gold, 400H ect. This loads the appropriate Profile, compresses dynamic range, removes digital sharpening and applies film grain in one click

  3. In the Film Tools presets mouse over and pick the contrast you like. The default is neutral, the included Film Tools can take your image from crunchy to airy.

  4. Try more or less Color Density or raise the Vibrance slider to protect skin tones

  5. Add Warmth or any of the 11 included Color Grading presets, adjust amount slider if needed

  6. Shoot more, repeat at step 1.

Unlike most profiles built with Lightroom’s native tools, these were created through a custom process, sampling hundreds of colors across a wide range of lighting conditions and exposure values. I worked with multiple professional labs to test scans from real film before settling on one that delivered the perfect balance of contrast, color accuracy, and minimal color cast. The goal was simple: to capture the soul of each film stock while keeping the profiles consistent, and easy to use. After testing nearly every preset and profile pack out there, I can confidently say these are some of the most versatile, true to film emulations available today.

These profiles are designed for use in Lightroom, Lightroom Classic and Camera RAW and are compatible with RAW images only.
